Fidel Trias Pagès
Painter. One of the last exponents of Catalan religious painting in the 20th century. Trained at the Fine Arts School of Barcelona. After his academic beginnings - he exhibited his works in Sabadell (1942), Madrid (1945) and Tàrrega (1947)-, he participated in the Exhibition of Liturgical Art of the International Eucharistic Congress of Barcelona (1952). He painted several murals in Sabadell, Sant Feliu del Racó, Bellaterra, Barcelona (La Mercè church), etc., within a mildly stylised and geometric figurativism. He showed his works in 1957 and 1960 at the Sabadell Fine Arts Academy, and later in Barcelona. He also cultivated the landscape and the portrait.
